Over 100 guests mingled under the portico while enjoying pink lemonade spritzers and learning about our cause while breast cancer survivors signed the pink fire truck. Next, guests rode the glass elevator to the rotating Pier Top and were greeted by pretty-in-pink Carolin Mueller & Kelly Gazo. A $10 suggested donation included splits of Korbel Brut Rose (with a pink straw of course!), a selection of Martinis, Margaritas & Wine from our Sole Sister’s Beverage Station with delicious passed appetizers and mini pink cupcakes! Our Sole men enjoyed their own “den” that included craft beers, Crown Royal, Dewar’s White Label and Glenfiddich 18 year Scotch Whisky.
Rotating Pier Top, Sole Sisters and guests grooved to the beat of DJ Angelo, perused the amazing Auction…and the highlight of the evening was the Fab Shoe Party with Hot Pink Style (over 25 pairs of shoes sold!!!). Our Sole Men voted on The Most Luscious Lips in Lauderdale Contest, and the winner will be announced soon! We raised over $3000 for our Team while celebrating all things Glam-A-THON™! Funds raised benefit the Sole Sisters TEAM efforts.
Special thanks from your Divalicious Chairs:
Lisa Scott-Founds & Renée Korbel Quinn
This amazing Soiree would not have happened without our Sole Supporters donating over $7500 in-kind donations:

One of the initiatives Riverwalk Trust undertook during their Transition was an Annual Event Permit. I am proud to share credit for this “first ever” annual permit with Genia Duncan Ellis and Courtney Crush, who conceived, planned, prodded, pushed and promoted the Trust through this new partnership with the City of Fort Lauderdale.
Riverwalk Trust received permission from the Fort Lauderdale City Commission to launch a pilot program that will bring year-round activity and events to our downtown along the Riverwalk Park. They will execute an annual event agreement with the City, rather than approaching the City Commission with each individual event in Riverwalk Park. It is an “umbrella” approach — providing a new way to plan, activate and manage annual programs in the public right-of-way and on City land.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens’ “Impressions of Florida”
10th Annual Juried Art Exhibit & Fundraiser
Bill Stanton, Managing Director of LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels in Fort Lauderdale, contacted Renée Quinn in the fall of 2009 to add her unique talents to one of his favorite charities’, The Bonnet House, signature fund raising event. “Impressions of Florida” , the annual juried art exhibition and fundraiser to benefit the public programs of Bonnet House was celebrating its 10th year and Bill wanted to add a new spin to the event. Without hesitation, Renee agreed to co-chair the event with Bonnet House Board Member Arthur Crispino.
On Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 6:00 pm the exhibition opened with a private showing for VIP guests at 5:30 pm. They were treated to a signature drink and hors d’oeuvres, previewed the exhibition, and experienced a rare viewing of the exclusive private living quarters of Evelyn and Fredric Bartlett, Bonnet House’s former owners. The theme, inspired by the cool casualness of Tommy Bahama, featured cocktails with rangpur limes—the signature ingredient of the Bartletts’ house cocktail. Additional highlights of the evening included unique tapas and food stations, wine and spirits with live entertainment throughout the house presented by the Hyatt Pier Sixty Six’s 360˚ Catering. The GClub at Riverwalk Trust and Go Riverwalk magazine hosted a new Edible Art Dessert Competition, created by Renee for the event.
The juried art exhibit, presented by LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, showcased artists from throughout the state and the artists’ personal interpretations of “Florida.” All guests and participating artists were invited to cast votes for their favorite artist in the exhibition. The artist receiving the highest number of votes received the coveted People’s Choice Award . Winners of the Edible Art competition were featured in Go Riverwalk magazine’s Wine & Food issue, May 2010.
The 10th annual Bonnet House Museum & Gardens’ “Impressions of Florida” sold out and raised the most money to date for this Bonnet House signature event.
