On October 7th, Tammy Gail and Glam-A-THON’s sassy fashions team with cocktails, cosmetics and confections at the 2nd Annual Lipstick Lounge at the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel
Fort Lauderdale’s most fabulous divas will preview over-the-top designs from the rising stars of the Art Institute’s fashion design program along with fashions from cutting edge local retailers. The Lipstick Lounge christens Fort Lauderdale as fashion Mecca of the South.
The $35 event admission fee will treat attendees to:
- Two signature Lipstick Lounge cocktails
- Sinful tastings from the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel
- Mouthwatering morsels to tempt your taste buds from Publix Apron’s Chefs
- Lipstick Lounge Sweet Spot – Insanely yummy confections including designer donuts from Miami’s own Mandarin Gourmet Donut Shoppe, Truffles from ‘Screw the Diet’, and heavenly samples from Cold Stone Creamery are just a few of the temptations to be featured.
You can get your ‘do-done’ by the creative teams at Lyn Anthony Salon and Salon Santiago. Or try your hand at the Glam Eyelash Bar! The party wouldn’t be complete without cosmetics – so celebrity and international makeup artist, Pierre Pope (who has dazzled faces like Oprah, Patti LaBelle and Anita Baker ), will be creating cosmetic history during the soiree. There will be so much to do, see, sip and savor your head will simply spin.
We realize that no glam girl worth her Manolos would even consider a party without great swag – so we’ll tease you with swag to beautify and amaze from many local businesses including the Bliss Spa at the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel. Two hours of hardcore cosmetics, cocktails and confections. Bring it, sistah. Cash bar will be available.
