Pairing Perfection! QPQ’s Top 7 Culinary Creations

A former Banker, self proclaimed Media Socialista and now culinary Judge. Those that know me are not surprised, as my facebook is full of recipes and cooking adventures. I inherited my culinary talents from my Sicilian Grandma (heritage also includes French/ German/ English) and have a passion for food.  With a few successful events under my belt, I really enjoyed Judging this timeDuvel!

Last night we had the pleasure to attend and judge New Times’ Pairings. The event was well planned, and the culinary offerings impressive! Truly outstanding culinary dishes and Pairings last night! The fifth annual New Times PAIRINGS, in partnership with Wine Watch, returns on September 13, 2012 from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. Culinary creations will be featured by more than 40 of South Florida’s top restaurants expertly paired with fine wines from around the globe, craft beers and specialty cocktails.

The event will bring together 1,500 young professionals, local businesses, event goers and foodies alike for an evening of gourmet selections, tasty libations and fun. Caribe Arts Fest comes to Riverfront at Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Caribe Arts Fest will be held in Downtown, Fort Lauderdale on Friday, September 28 till Sunday, September 30, 2012. A three day celebration of Caribbean artistic expressions from talents across South Florida and the Diaspora. This first of its kind festival will showcase multimedia creations representing and encompassing the culture, essence and creativity of the Caribbean Diaspora.
